IRON MAN VAN DE PADENBORRE

Iron Man van de Padenborre made a major contribution under Gregory Wathelet to Belgium’s victory in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, but sadly passed away only a few months later. He had a fantastic career at the highest level, with top placings at the world’s biggest shows, such as Bordeaux, Aachen, Shanghai, St Gallen and La Baule.

His jumping qualities are no surprise given his pedigree; sire Darco and damsire Chin Chin belong to the very best of all time, and dam Dirka van de Padenborre is one of the world’s best broodmares. Besides Iron Man, Dirka also produced the five-star Grand Prix showjumper Ho Go van de Padenborre.

In breeding, Iron Man van de Padenborre also proves himself; his first offspring are already performing at CSI5* level. Examples include Irona van de Viking Z with Pieter Devos and later Tom Wachman, VDL Groep Nino du Roton under Leopold van Asten and Iron Wish DH Z with Jur Vrieling. Iron Man van de Padenborre passed away far too early, so use him while you still can.
