About Empire van de Hogeborg WS
| Empire van de Hogeborg WS is a three-year-old stallion with an elegant, large-framed model and very good balance in the canter. He shows plenty of scope and quality over the jump. His sire Emerald is one of the most influential stallions, and his damsire Calato was particularly influential. The dam line of Empire van de Hogeborg WS traces back to the famous mare Ramona van de Gaver. Empire is closely related to gold medalist Impress-K van ’t Kattenheye Z with Thibeau Spits and the highly successful Sherlock with Harry Charles. Another well-known relative is Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, who won Olympic team silver under Jessica Springsteen and multiple five-star Grand Prix classes. Other successful relatives include Belano van de Wijnhoeve Z, Utopia van de Donkhoeve and Jezebeau BC. Empire made a strong impression at the KWPN Stallion Show during the first viewing. He is now being trained quietly and is expected to be presented for the KWPN performance test after the breeding season.
